Inspired by beautiful paper

 A few months ago Emma sent me a link to Inkywww.inkyco.com.au which make really beautiful paper and which we were inspired to use. At first we thought that we would make some pictures but when we came across and old dresser that we wanted to have a bit of fun with this was our perfect opportunity!

However it didn't stop there! We had some left over paper and still wanted to make some pictures and now we are addicted to decoupage!

Also inspired by Emma I have been wanting to make French notice boards and as red spots and black are filling my house this is the result!

Lucy still loves her blues so this was her creation!

Colour and decoupage

For a while now we have been thinking about colour.....

We love fabrics and have been making lovely cushions, bunting and door stops- some neutrals and some vibrant colours. 

But we wanted very much to try painting some of our furniture in something other than our signature colour, Dulux 'Grand Piano' These are are new chairs in the Yarramalong Store and we are planning some more as the blue chair with decoupage sold in two hours!!!!!

Mother's Day Market

Hello!  

We are busy preparing for the Mothers Day Market at Hornsby Westfield 

We will be there all weekend - Saturday & Sunday 12th & 13th May

Along with our Cushions, Frames, Magnets, Cake Toppers & Cards we will have a whole lot of special Mothers Day gifts priced at $10 so you can grab something made with a lot of love for your Mum!  (Or send your kids with Dad to buy you something special!!)

New items for Mothers Day!

We have all been busy creating in anticipation of Mothers Day.

Lucy has booked us into two markets -one before mothers day and one after, and we are also keeping up with demand at Yarramalong Store, so we are busy, busy, busy!!!!!

Great day at Yarramalong Store!

Last weekend Lucy & I finally got around to putting some of our items in the beautiful Yarramalong Store. Today when I went to buy lunch, Paul and Steph told us we had to get home quickly and make a lot more things as we had sold lots!!!!!! YIPPEEE

So, instead of finishing painting my sitting room I have been busy creating with my favorite daughter-in-law to be! We had so much fun that she has agreed to be a Babushka Girl and we are very lucky to have her- in so many ways:)

Will update soon with our new items and will also need to formally introduce Bree to you all

Terrigal handmade craft market

Thank you to all the lovely people that we met at the Terrigal handmade craft market. We had a really fun day and were delighted by the lovely comments about the items were were selling (and actually made enough money to cover the items we brought from other stalls!!!!)

If you are looking at this site to follow up on some items that you saw there, want us to source you an item of furniture, or breath new life into an item that you already have do not hesitate to make contact with us.

Due to the expansion of our family by two new babies (so exciting!) our furniture is not in the Yarramalong Store as we have not had the time to set it up properly but they can be viewed - without any pressure to buy- at Judith's home in Yarramalong. Specific items can be moved to Wyoming if this is more convenient

The lovely 3D butterfly artworks are made by a fabulous friend of ours Sally, who we plan to give a guest section to in this blog. If  you were interested in contacting her please leave a message at our email and we will pass it on.

Yarramalong Valley is a beautiful place to visit, the Yarramalong store has a garden for the kids to play in and outdoor settings to enjoy a fantastic food and really excellent coffee. Well worth a visit!
